Für mich als Kostümbildner & Stylist ist die erste Priorität meiner Arbeit, den Charakter einer Rolle zu stärken und ihr eine unverwechselbare sowie klar erkennbare visuelle Persönlichkeit zu verleihen. Meine Kostümbilder schaffen eine individuelle und sichtbare Stütze der Rolle.
Mit Fingerspitzengefühl, einem Hochschulstudium, dem Mut Neues zu schaffen und nicht zu imitieren, kreiere ich ungesehene, charakteristische Kostüme. Für mich muss das Publikum, der Zuschauer, eindeutig verstehen um was es geht. Nicht mehr, nicht weniger.
For me as a costume designer & stylist the first priority of my work is to strengthen the character of a role – to give it a distinctive and clearly identifiable visual personality. My costume design, creates a personal and visible support of the role.
With sure instinct, a university degree, the courage to create something from scretch and not to imitate, I create unseen characteristic costumes. For me, the audience, the viewer, has to clearly understand what's at stake. Nothing more, nothing less.
